Standing Still

The start of 2015 has been quite rough and challenging, not only for me (work related) but also for my family. New year is supposed to be all new goals, positive outlook for the year ahead and good vibes. Too bad, it wasn't like that for me.

As much as I wanted to write here every details of what I am going through, I won't. Or, maybe I will. I don't know. I feel so fragile at the moment and it hurts.

I keep telling myself that everything will turn out just fine. It's just one of the surprise challenges God has given me and I will get through this, just like always. Situations like this makes me reflect to myself, to how much I have improved in handling my emotions. Most of all, my faith is stronger than ever.

Like my boss told me "Sh*t happens! It's how you deal with it that counts."

I know and I believe that situations like this is just a test of faith. When you pass such test, you will be stronger than you already are.

My grandma always told me to embrace every challenges with faith, prayer, determination and with pride. Pride, for knowing that you are stronger than you think are.

I thank God for all the wonderful people that surrounds me. They make me become a better person.

I remember welcoming a new year in bed because I was terribly sick but that year turned out to be a year full of blessings and surprises.

Good things will come after every trial/hardship/challenge. Have faith.

We all go through various degrees of trials in our lives. We all have our crosses to bear. I bet, even the richest man in the world does. It's how you tackle those trials and the faith that you have will help you resolve those issues.

I agree with your boss. Crap happens. FLUSH IT DOWN.
Allow yourself to think of the problems that you have but don't allow those problems to consume you. Whatever it is you're going through, I pray you'll be able to handle it with faith.

There's always a silver lining.

I couldn;t agree more! You see, we cannot control everything that will happen, but our response to what happen is always our choice and under our control. Our response is our responsibility.

No matter what we go through in life there is always a reason to be thankful. Challenges are bound to happen. Some makes you stronger.

Totally agree with your boss's comment - things are sent to test us, it's just about finding the strength to deal with everything x

If it can help, let me tell you that things happen for a reason. I'm sure everything would be ok. That's the only way things should go if you choose to.

Life is full of challenges and sometimes nothing turns out the way we expected it to happen. What we go through makes us wiser and stronger. In this respect we should be grateful for both the joy and the hardship. Life is our greatest teacher. We should always keep the faith :)

I believe we must experience a tough situation in order to become stronger, to build our force, strenght... We don't see that when we are suffering, but we realized it when it's over, when what we took form it.. the experiences..

We all feel fragile at different situations in our lives, and we learn to draw strength from within us to move on. Our faith in religion certainly helps in times like this.

Thanks so much for being brave enough to share your struggles I know that in life you can go through up and downs. But getting through is more than a lot of us can handle. I commend you I would not be strong enough to share with others. But your share makes me feel not so alone so thanks

You just have to pray and have faith that God is there to guide you in everything you are facing at present.

I totally agree with your boss!

Since I'm not entirely sure what's going on, all I can say is keep on having faith in God. My year hasn't been great either, I'm now facing a possible divorce but without God by my side I don't know how I would have done it.
