Wouldn't it be nice if..

Floral is now in.
Pink is the new black.
A season must-have.
Wardrobe essentials.
Your summer dress guide.
Hairstyles for winter.

Common fashion headlines we encounter in magazines, fashion blogs and TV shows.

I think we are influenced with trends that we often forget to actually be ourselves.

So take out your magazine mindset, and start your own trends. Who cares what others say?

Fashion should not be defined.

I so agree with you. I don't really buy what is trend today, I guess that's only for teens.I prefer what I want.

Very nice composition! Over here, when you see a shoe hanging somewhere, it means that a drug deal is happening on that area.

You are very correct. Fashion is unique to each of us.

I agree! Everyone should not be judged according their taste in things. Everyone has the right to set a new trend!

so love the photo that goes with the post...true indeed, we must always dress according to our personality and not rely on what society dictates us :)

We are all unique in our own different ways. Regardless of fashion preferences, one stands out in the huge crowd when dressed comfortably. It's the feeling inwardly that makes us beautiful. It's the new fabulous!!! ;-)

That's good. I think you can pull from trends if it matches your style! The most important thing is never to forget yourself and never be afraid of being you.

True! I agree with you, thank you for checking in. xoxo

Really? That's hilarious. Where are you from? And that's a unique way of indicating drug dealing. People get too creative sometimes!

It sure is! Thank you for checking in

Exactly! Trends shouldn't be predefined by "fashion experts"only. The most stylish people can be found within!

That photo is beautiful right? I found it on tumblr and couldn't find the photographer! Amazing stuff. You're right, society needs to sit down and stop dictating! Thank you for checking in :)

The photo complimented your cute poem. Yes, it is great to be original in ways you do. It is better to be a third rate 'original' that a second rate copycat.

Pink should not be related to women only, I've seen men, (straight men) wore pink shirt or polo and they exude vibrancy not femininity.

Pink is the new black? Hehehe! Really?

Marie Imperial said...

I am not open to the idea that pink is the new black but I like pink. Hehehehe!

Cool poem. A poetic side of a fashion lover. It's correct. And I appreciate it too.
